HR Systems & Data Analyst (Fixed Term Contract) (1618)

Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insight? Do you have strong analytical and reporting skills, and advanced Excel capability? Are you confident working with HR systems to improve processes and enable smarter, data-driven decisions?

We are looking for an experienced HR Systems and People Data Analyst to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and insight of our People data and reporting capability. This role is key to maintaining and optimising our HR systems, improving workforce analytics, and supporting strategic decision making across the organisation.

This opportunity is offered as a full time (35 hours Monday to Friday), fixed term contract position until September 2026, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, with flexible and hybrid working available. We can also consider the role on a part-time basis which would be 3 days per week either fully remote or hybrid.

Working closely with the Head of People Operations, your key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):

  • Supporting with the delivery of annual reporting to Arts Council England, the RSC Board, SLT and other funding and governance bodies.
  • Develop and maintain HR data reporting and dashboards to monitor workforce trends, identify insights and inform business decisions.
  • Delivering system improvements in line with the strategic People Services Business plan.
  • Managing system administration and configuration of HR system (iTrent) including supporting system upgrades.
  • Working proactively with People Partners and leaders to interpret data, highlight trends and recommend actions for improvement.
  • Providing project management support delivery for People Services projects.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Experience in a HR/People Services environment and familiarity with HR processes and data requirements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, lookups and data visualisation.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting and interpretation
  • Knowledge of HR system administration, ideally with iTrent, including configuration, workflows, and data structures.
  • A meticulous approach to data accuracy and quality assurance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Highly organised, adaptable and ability to manage multiple priorities.
